MLB Agent Mark Leinweaver Inspires Tigers with “Why Character Matters” Presentation

During Homecoming week, Major League Baseball agent Mark Leinweaver visited EPHS to share an important message with our Tigers in two assemblies. In addition, Mark hosted a “Captain’s Luncheon” with student leaders from athletics and other activities, providing a deeper conversation about character and leadership.

In his presentations, Mark focused on “Why Character Matters”. He challenged students to think about their futures and emphasized the importance of personal accountability in achieving their goals. He spoke about the value of grit, standing up for what’s right, combating bullying, and being mindful of social media use and its potential impacts. In our current day and age, these messages are extremely vital—laying the foundation for students to develop strong values, make responsible choices, and navigate both school and life with integrity.

We are so grateful to have hosted Mark Leinweaver and are proud to continue sharing these meaningful lessons with our students and school community. It was a great way to kick off Homecoming weekend. Thank you Mark for joining us as a fellow Tiger!
